I think the last year for me was a huge learning experience, and as trite as this sounds, I wouldn’t change a thing. It was a year that tested me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I found myself beat down, angry, joyous, sad, all ranges of emotion, and as difficult as that was for me, and it was difficult, I learned so much about myself.
However, that answer doesn’t necessary leave you, dear reader, satisfied, so let me answer you thusly: if I could change one thing about last year, I would probably take more pictures of myself. I have about 10K pics on various machines, and probably less than 5% of those pics over 10+ years are of me. I don’t have pics of myself. If it’s a pic of me, it’s because I took the damn thing. You know the arm extended out and taking a pic of myself picture. Yah I hate those, but pics of me with the baby? Maybe less than 20. Pics of husband with baby? TONS. It’s not his fault, it’s just that I don’t have pics of myself. Annoying.
So this I resolve. For the period starting now until the end of the year, taking more pics of myself doing things. Then make a movie out of it. Let’s see how this goes.
